Lamb Turkey Burgers w/ Cucumber Yogurt Sauce
Serves: 8-10 Burgers
  • 1½ lb. Ground Lamb(24 oz.)
  • 20 oz. Ground Turkey
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ⅔ C. Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper
  • ¼ C. Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 C. Plain Yogurt
  • ½ Cucumber, peeled, seeded, small dice
  • 2 tablespoons Red Onion, finely diced
  • 1 Garlic Clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pickled Onions
  • 8-10 Hamburger Buns
  1. Add the ground lamb, ground turkey, olive oil, feta crumbles, salt, pepper, and parsley to a large bowl. Using you hands, mix the ingredients together well.
  2. Divide into 8-10 portions and shape each portion into a patty, taking care not to make them too thick.
  3. Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil. When it's hot, add the patties and cook on medium/high heat for about 4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Serve burgers with hamburger buns, cucumber sauce, and pickled onion.
  6. Add the yogurt, lemon juice, diced cucumber, diced onion, and garlic to a small bowl and combine. Add salt to taste.
